Pre-Wiring for Profit

Introduction

During the last decade or so, the wiring requirements for entertainment systems in new homes have aways been seen as an added extra and viewed as just that, additional cost. This guide explains in the same way that, just as a foundation is a prerequisite for building a solid home, so the wiring infrastructure is a way of unlocking additional profits. Furthermore, new generation multi-room systems can actually keep your costs down. This is achieved by their design, using the same type of cable as modern wiring schemes for telephone and computer networks (often referred to as structured cabling).

Planning

1st Fix

In most instances, it makes sense for your own on-site electricians to handle all of the first fix cabling. They will of course have the plans to work from and will be able to call on us for support. We can specify or supply 1st fix materials, the choice is yours.

The Sale

This should be encouraged at the earliest possible opportunity and we recommend a simple "tick box" approach is adopted, thereby making it as easy and painless as possible for your clients to reach an early decision. We will work with your sales team to implement the best method. Remember, our solutions are plug and play and can work with just about any hi-fi or home theatre system that your customer ownes or wishes to purchase.  We will also joint point of sale marketing and staff training.

2nd Fix

We will deal with any 2nd fix requirements as well as fitting the system and meeting the new home owners to demonstrate the system and deal with any queries.
